Independence Animal Clinic is looking for an enthusiastic, full-time, small animal veterinarian. We are a busy, 4-doctor practice that provides progressive medicine and surgery to an expanding client base. There is a huge opportunity for the dedicated individual that has something unique to add to our practice. Independence is a fully equipped hospital with easy access to board certified specialists; with in-house Idexx lab, culture and sensitivity, digital x-ray, endoscopy, acupuncture, shock wave and ultrasound.
The candidate must be well versed in client education and have exceptional standards for patient care as well as customer service. New grads are welcome to apply. We offer a reasonable work week (32-36 hrs) and a once monthly, half-day Saturday rotation and on-call. Our emergency hours are from 5pm-8pm on weekdays and 8am -5pm on weekends. Any emergencies after this time are directed to an emergency clinic in Denton, TX.
We offer a competitive salary (ProSal), 401K with safe harbor and profit sharing, medical insurance, CE, uniform allowance, professional liability insurance, AVMA dues, licenses paid, paid vacation and sick leave. A negotiable relocation allowance is available.
Independence Animal Clinic has a strong presence in the community. We work closely with Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter, providing spay and neuter services and medical care, and support community events. All veterinarians in our practice participate in some charity service to give to those less fortunate.
