A rapidly growing multi-specialty, emergency, and general practice in North Central Connecticut is seeking a board certified or board eligible ophthalmologist applicant for our practice group.
Our referral services include Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Ophthalmology.
Our 8,000 square foot hospital in Connecticut is equipped to offer state of the art diagnostic and surgical procedures and features digital radiography, color flow ultrasonography, a 16 slice helical CT scanner, video endoscopy/bronchoscopy, and a linear accelerator for radiation therapy.
State of the art diagnostic and surgical procedures include:
Removal of cataracts via phacoemulsification with foldable prosthetic lens replacement
Glaucoma treatment (gonioscopy, goniovalves, diode trans-scleral laser cyclophotocoagulation, and chemical ablation)
Corneal surgery (keratectomy, keratotomy, conjunctival and corneal grafts)
Oculoplastic surgery (entropion, eyelid masses, third eyelid surgery, ocular trauma)
