The Hospital Administrator reports to the BOD. Primary role is to carry out the vision of the board by managing the operation of a small animal specialty and emergency hospital with three locations (80+ employees), whose success is largely derived by exceptional service. Responsible for company’s day-to-day operating activities including revenue and sales growth; expense, cost and margin control. Work with middle management direct reports to ensure goals are met for staff development, budgeting and management of key services, procurement of latest technology and equipment, with outreach to primary care veterinarians and the community; in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and regulations for veterinary medical facilities.
Advanced degree in business, finance, management or healthcare administration. Minimum 15 years of experience, with 5 in an executive level position, such as HA, GM or COO. Specialty/24/7 emergency strongly preferred.
