Second Chance Wildlife Center is seeking to hire a full-time Head Clinic Technician to help the Clinic Director with husbandry and medical care of its wildlife patients and help supervise staff, volunteers and interns.
Key Responsibilities: Rehabilitation- Perform clinic duties. Administer treatment and medications as directed. Assist with rescues and releases. Oversee maintenance of Clinic areas. Contribute with administrative duties
Able to work on site 40 hours a week. Available weekend and holidays. Able to handle diverse, competing tasks independently, efficiently and accurately. Reliable and dependable. Organized, set goals, meet deadlines and attention to detail. Team player with interpersonal and communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Can interact and communicate with the public and others. Preference for Licensed Maryland Wildlife Rehabilitator and/or Veterinary Technician with at least 2 years experience, especially with exotic species.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with exxperience
