We are seeking an enthusiastic third veterinarian who enjoys the variety and diversity which comes with practicing both small and large animal medicine (cats, dogs, horses, cattle, goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas and pet pigs) in a fast growing practice. The focus for this position will be on small animal medicine and surgery. Participation in Large Animal medicine is welcomed, but, not essential. Located in the beautiful rolling fields of Stanly County, NC, we are just minutes away from metropolitan Charlotte with easy access to both mountains and beach. The practice focuses on a community approach to medicine and therefore provides emergency after-hours services on an on-call basis, which we currently rotate equally. Buy-in potential will be available to the right person. Practice has in-house blood work, Digital radiography, laser therapy, electronic medical record keeping and new renovations.
This is a full time position. Must have good attitude and be a team player. Flexible and calm under pressure is essential. Sound basic surgical techniques and great communication skills are a must. Willing to work rotating on-call/after hours emergency schedule is also a plus.
