Animal Cancer Care Clinic (ACCC) is a unique cancer center that is comprised of a new, state of the art, comprehensive cancer treatment and wellness center in Ft. Lauderdale and 6 satellite medical oncology practices located along the Southeast Coast of Florida. ACCC provides 24-hour nursing care and urgent care for existing patients and accepts referral emergency cases as well. ACCC consists of 4 medical oncologists, one of which is also board-certified in radiation oncology, and a board-certified surgeon and internist. Additionally, the following specialists are available in critical care, cardiology, and ophthalmology. ?
Our Hospital/Urgent Care Doctor would work directly with our specialists to provide continuity of care to hospitalized patients and after hours urgent care to existing patients of Animal Cancer Care Clinic.
We are seeking candidates that have a Veterinary degree with at least one year of experience in a multi-specialty/ER private practice setting. Preference is given to candidates that have completed a rotating internship in a specialty practice setting. ABVP board certification (or interest in pursuing ABVP board certification) is advantageous.
The expected work-week is a 40-hour week with primarily afternoon and evening shifts during the week days and a Sunday day shift. There is schedule flexibility for the right individual.
