We are the preferred specialty and emergency hospital in our region for companion animals. Privately owned and practicing out of a 25,000 square foot facility with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, we have been providing the highest quality of veterinary medicine for over 30 years. Our hospital was recently recognized by AAHA as a finalist for the 2016 Referral Hospital of the Year award.
Metropolitan’s board certified and residency trained team consists of 28 doctors in 12 specialties, with a highly-experienced support team of over 100 employees. Metropolitan’s specialty disciplines include cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, critical care / emergency services, internal medicine, interventional radiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology and surgery (including minimally invasive surgery). Our practice offers a wide range of diagnostic capabilities including onsite MRI, CT scan, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, echocardiography, electrocardiography, arthroscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, and I131.
