PetCure Oncology, one of the most exciting, innovative and fastest-growing veterinary oncology providers in the country, is looking for a unique, highly energized, compassionate veterinary technician to grow with our rapidly expanding team. We’re looking for the very best.
This position requires a certified veterinary technician, highly skilled in anesthesia, for a tertiary care radiation and imaging department in Pittsburgh. This technician will serve as a second technician supporting the patients seen through the radiation oncology service in partnership with Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center (PVSEC). Additional responsibilities include compassionate patient care, anesthesia induction and monitoring, excellent client care and communication, and involvement in the department's growth.
Work hours will be Monday-Friday. Daytime hours - no nights. Typically 25-30 hours per week. Be a part of a great team delivering exceptional medicine and the very best care!

Ideal candidates have:
• Obtained their CVT license • A strong background in administering and monitoring anesthesia and managing critical patients (preferred) • The ability to multi-task and adjust in a fast-pace environment • Great energy. We need TEAM players with great communication skills • Strong technical skills and the ability to learn from new experiences • A desire to provide input and assist with all aspects of patient care
