Highland Pointe Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time veterinary technician or veterinary assistant to join our full-service, AAHA ACCREDITED practice in Highland Village, Texas. Highland Village borders Lewisville Lake and is conveniently minutes from the DFW airport and I-35 East and West. Highland Village is a desirable place to live and work. It was ranked the 4th safest city in all of Texas in 2016!
Our team at Highland Pointe Animal Hospital enjoys helping dogs, cats, and some exotic species. We see both wellness cases and emergency cases. We are recognized in the community for our positive work environment and exemplary client service. Our team treats others as they wish to be treated - that includes pets, pet owners, and each other. We feel it is important to also serve our community - we work with Cavalier Rescue USA, St. Bernard and Great Pyrenees rescues.
We are looking for a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant but would consider training a person who demonstrates excellence in learning, teamwork, and client service. This includes pre-veterinary students and students currently enrolled in veterinary technology programs who are seeking experience. We would consider a part-time position for the right person.
Per staff vote, we offer a block schedule to ensure each staff member enjoys full days off during the week. Salary is competitive and based on experience and skill level. We offer paid time off for F/T employees, paid vacation for F/T employees, generous personal pet discounts, and more!
