Cornell University Veterinary Specialists (CUVS) in Stamford, CT, is seeking a credentialed technician to work with our 3 board-certified Internal Medicine specialists. Our full-service Internal Medicine Service offers advanced imaging including ultrasound, CT and fluoroscopy and provides a broad array of minimally invasive and interventional procedures. The Internal Medicine Service at CUVS works collaboratively with other services within CUVS, as well as accepting referrals from other specialty and general practices. Technicians are given ample opportunity to utilize all of their skills and continue to grow throughout their career. Technicians assist with consultations, blood component transfusion therapy, total parenteral nutrition, tracheal and urethral stenting, bone marrow biopsies, diagnostic laparoscopy, ultrasonographic, fluoroscopic and CT-guided biopsies, therapeutic endoscopy including foreign body retrieval and esophageal balloon procedures, medical record-keeping and client education.
