Located in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Dade County has many attractions. We are only 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. Chattanooga has a thriving downtown area, Aquarium, Rock City/Ruby Falls, riverboat cruises, incline railroad and Civil War history to name a few. If you are into outdoor activities, this is a great area for you! Hiking, water activities, triathlons and hang-gliding not to mention the many outdoor festivals and concerts the city holds. Activities for everyone. Recently named “The Best Town Ever” by Outside magazine, Chattanooga boasts abundant recreational, cultural, and entertainment activities. The cost-of-living in the southeast is much lower than other areas of the county, this means that earned income goes farther dollar-for-dollar than in many other parts of the country.
