Full Time Veterinarian for unique north Florida Small Animal Hospital
A small animal veterinarian (or 2) needed for a fast growing 8 year old small animal practice located near Tallahassee. We have 3 doctors and are expanding to a 4th and 5th. Flexible hours and a 4 day work week are possible as the clinic is only open M-F, 8:00 – 5:00.

No boarding or grooming, just exceptional care for our patients.
Shepherd Spring Animal Hospital is located in a new 5,000 sq ft hospital. We perform orthopedic/neuro, as well as soft tissue surgeries. Our hospital has all of the diagnostic/therapeutic equipment to provide our patients with the answers to their illness or discomfort.
Our salary and benefits package is better than most. We are located on Florida’s beautiful “forgotten coast” - 80% of the land in our county is national forest, state forest or The St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. Outdoor activities abound; kayaking and incredible fishing on crystal clear spring-fed rivers. Our public school system is consistently rated in the top 5 statewide.
Ability to work as a team player in an environment of mutual support. We are all eager to share in one another's cases. We see interesting and unusual cases on a daily basis. Candidate must be proficient in the English language. Candidate must be in good physical/mental health.

Shepherd Spring Animal Hospital is a 9year old small animal practice in a community 15 miles south of Tallahassee Florida. We provide quality care for our patients in a relaxed atmosphere of genuine concern for the well being of our patients and our clients.
We have recently moved into our new 5,000 sq. foot small animal hospital. We provide care for our community's dogs and cats, as well a...s a few goats and "pocket pets". We also provide pro bono medical and surgical care to injured wildlife and sea turtles as well as a number of wildlife zoo specimens at the Tallahassee Museum of Natural History.
Our hospital is open 8:00 am - 5:00 pm M-F. Our clients understand our need to enjoy a life outside the practice. We do not provide boarding or grooming, just compassionate veterinary medicine and surgery.
We are located on US 98 Florida's Scenic Coastal Highway next door to the beautiful St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. 65% of the land in Wakulla County is either State Forest, National Forest or National Wildlife Refuge. Our area is known as Florida's Forgotten Coast. Our schools are consistently rated in the top 10% in the state.
Fishing is great, many bike trails, hiking and kayaking on our crystal clear spring-fed rivers are a few of our pastimes.
