Frankie’s Friends is growing and needs a veterinarian who excels in a fast-paced environment, with a strong work ethic, initiative, creativity, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to our mission. We are a non-profit organization that provides HQHVSN and low cost veterinary care to the community. Last year, we performed over 7,000 surgeries to help reduce cat overpopulation! We have saved many homeless cats by providing free veterinary care, rehabilitation, and rehoming and have performed specialized surgeries (perineal urethrostomies, fracture repairs, diaphagramic hernia repairs, etc.) that would have otherwise led to euthanasia or relinquishment to shelters due to financial constraints.
We have an awesome, positive atmosphere at our stationary clinic in New Kensington and on our mobile surgery unit that travels to underserved communities. We collaborate with over 15 different animal rescue groups and shelters in 12 different counties. Our team is tight-knit, efficient, and mission centric. We will happily train new (and not so new) graduates in high quality, high volume spay/neuter techniques, and provide a supportive and collaborative environment. We offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to truly help animals who would not otherwise receive veterinary care.
