Seeking an associate equine veterinarian who has an interest in preventative health care, emergency care, and a desire to develop their knowledge and skills in a growing practice. The practice is located in Middletown, Maryland at the foot of the Appalachian Trail. Our diverse family of clientele throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia include dressage, hunter/jumper, eventers, fox hunters, and pleasure horses.
A stocked practice vehicle will be provided along with a veterinary assistant. In truck computers, digital radiology, ultrasound, shockwave therapy, laser therapy, cryotherapy, IRAP, PRP, endoscopy, and motorized dentsitry equipment are all utilized. A ten stall facility is utilized for out patient visits. Emergency calls are shared to maintain a high quality of life. Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday. A base salary commensurate with experience along with a percentage of production. Association dues paid for AVMA, MVMA, WMVMA and AAEP as well as health benefits, retirement benefits, liability insurance, paid vacation and a continuing education stipend are being offered.

South Mountain Equine is a one doctor practice with four team members located at the foot of the Appalachian Trail in Middletown, Maryland. We are an ambulatory practice primarily but have a ten stall facility for a growing number of out patient visits. We focus on preventative health care including chiropractic, acupuncture, and dentistry. We also have a keen interest in lameness evaluation, imaging and treatments.
