As our Medical Director in Monroe, NC, you will play a key role in overseeing clinic operations, mentoring veterinary staff, and ensuring the highest standards of medical care. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor our veterinary team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Perform high-quality spay/neuter surgeries and provide medical treatment for shelter animals and community pets.
Develop, implement, and advance clinic medicine protocols to ensure top-tier care.
Work closely with the Executive Director and clinic team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Promote excellence in client experience, addressing concerns and supporting staff training.
Ensure compliance with medical and safety regulations while maintaining humane treatment standards for all animals.
Medical Director Qualifications
Valid, Licensed Veterinarian in good standing in the state of North Carolina.
3-5 years of clinical experience (Medical Director experience preferred).
DEA license and requisite clinical privileges.
Strong clinical skills with sound medical judgment.
Passion for mentoring and developing veterinary staff.
Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
