Practice veterinary medicine the way it is supposed to be!!! FT/PT position available. Our office visits are scheduled with a minimum of 30 minutes, allowing for thorough exams and in-depth client consultation. We are a slower paced, traditional, mixed animal practice in the relaxed, small town of Kingman, Arizona.
Kingman sits in a desert mountain valley at 3300 feet elevation. Its location, moderate climate, nearby lakes, desert, and mountains provide endless outdoor recreation opportunities. Kingman's historic downtown district has undergone considerable renovations and hosts cultural activities and a bustling nightlife.
The practice has very little turnover, boasting a well seasoned, experienced staff. You will find it amply equipped with surgical laser, DR radiology, complete in-house Idexx laboratory, Impromed operating system, fiberoptic endoscope, diagnostic ultrasound, and much more.
Our caseload is 90% canine/feline, 9% equine and 1% farm mammals.
We require an associate veterinarian with excellent client and staff communication skills. Equine expertise (though not a deal breaker) would be an asset to the practice.
Full time schedule is 4 days a week. Part time schedule is negotiable. After Hours/Emergency On call is shared on a rotational basis.
This could be the perfect job for a wide range of veterinarians: Those looking to partially retire to a nicer climate, spend more time recreating or family time or the ambitious associate ready to take on the world!! Buy in opportunities will be entertained for those with the right interpersonal chemistry to join the ownership/management team.
