We are seeking a small or mixed animal veterinarian to practice at our satellite clinic in Indiana, PA, and our primary hospital in Kittanning. This is a great opportunity to practice independently and with colleagues , and have the mentoring in a large mixed animal veterinary hospital. We also offer a great work schedule with the majority being daytime hours.
The position would include one to two large animal days a week, wth the rest being small animal. We have four unit equipped trucks that are used for ambulatory work. We also see many small ruminants, camelids, and pigs in our hospital. The large animal part of the practice consists primarily of dairy cattle and includes beef cattle and equine patients.
Thie satellite clinic is a well equipped clinic with a surgical suite, digital radiography, and a complete lab. It is located 25 miles from our hospital, and it is in a small college town.
Our main hospital has nine veterinarians (4 1/2 small, 4 1/2 large), and a support staff of twenty-three. Our 53 year old practice is proud to have a family atmosphere for our employees, that transfers to excellent care for our patients and clients. It is equipped similarly to the satellite clinic with an ultrasound and medical laser.
DVM/VMD degree and a Pennsylvania license needed. We need someone with a good attitude, work ethic, and great people skills. Salary commensurate with experience. New and soon to be graduates considered.
