Dansville Animal Hospital is a small animal practice seeking a skilled Full Time and Part Time Licensed Veterinary Technician for our fast based, facility. Applicant must possess strong technical and interpersonal skills as our focus is to maintain a positive workplace while providing advanced and compassionate care for our patients.
The LVT position is one which combines assisting DVMs in exam rooms, treatment and monitoring of clinical cases, seeing outpatient appointments and working in our lab and pharmacy.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in continuing to develop their skills and technical protocols to meet the industry's ever evolving standards of care.
Must be licensed as a NYS LVT.
The ability to pass a professional background screening.
Strong technical skills.
There’s an opportunity for 3 or 4-day work week with some Saturdays required.
Hours are 8-6 M-F and 8-1 on Saturday No emergency calls.

About Dansville Animal Hospital
The practice is in the picturesque Village of Dansville, Livingston County, New York. The Village of Dansville is in the eastern section of historic Livingston County, 55 miles from the City of Rochester. The practice is in a one story, free standing building. Newly expanded facility with 3 examining rooms, new equipment and approximately 2,900 square feet of floor space.
We're currently staffed with 3 full time and 1-part time technicians and 3 full time and some part time client care support specialists. The site consists of approximately 3.5 acres with frontage on I-390 adjacent to an on/off ramp. The location is immediately across the street from the regional human hospital giving the site even further identification. The practice has been in operation for 34 years.
