Job can involve one or two tracks. For a candidate interested in surgery, there is ample opportunity to perform both routine and nonroutine soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. This person would also be expected to perform wellness checks, diagnosis and treatment of medical conditons, etc.
A candidate with little interest or desire to do surgery would be mainly responsible for medical case management and diagnosis of conditions as well as routine wellness plans for patients. This candidate may occasionally be asked to perform routine surgical procedures, such as spay or neuter, but only if they feel comfortable doing so.
Candidate will be mentored by practitioner with 21 years of experience and a desire to teach the correct individual. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
This position is for full time preferably, but would also consider part time applicants.
Licensed in the State of Georgia with valid DEA license. Federal accreditation a plus but not required(would expect candidate to complete accreditation).
