| Comal Pet Hospital is seeking a part-time or full-time energetic veterinarian to join our progressive and growing practice in beautiful New Braunfels, Texas. Our practice was honored in March of 2018 at the TVMA conference in The Woodlands, Texas, as a Heritage practice which means we have been in business in the same location for more than 50 years. I am currently the third practice owner since October of 2010. If you are seeking a good worklife balance mirrored with great medicine, then you should consider us as an option. Our ideal candidate will have a strong interest in high standards of care in both medicine and surgery, and have excellent client relationship skills. This candidate should also plan to be a dedicated and enthusiastic team player. We hold our practice and clients to a high standard of care and ensure that we spend a quality amount of time with each client to handle all the needs of their beloved pet(s). Education is a key to maintaining a healthy pet, so we also have a strong focus on proper pet care education for our staff and clients. If you have never visited or lived in New Braunfels before here is a little information on our great town. We are developed off a town in Germany called Braunfels, Germany, hence our name New Braunfels. New Braunfels is great place for either a family or single person. We are 20 minutes from San Antonio and 45 minutes from Austin and closer to every other great town in between San Marcos, Wimberley, Lake McQueeney, etc. Being close to both the hill country and two major cities is the best of both worlds! We are a full service veterinary hospital, equipped with an in-house pharmacy, laboratory analyzers, digital radiology (including dental), surgical monitoring equipment, ultrasound, and a compassionate support staff. As a well-established veterinary hospital, we are currently building a new state-of-the-art medical facility including an amazing surgical suite, dental stations, consultation room, euthanasia room, isolation room, ICU room, etc. We are also building a state-of-the-art pet resort in a separate but attached building. We are and have been paperless for the past several years and currently utilize EzyVet as our veterinary practice management software.
