Located in the capital city of Helena, Montana ("Queen City of the Rockies") we are a 2.5 doctor mixed animal practice looking for another motivated animal lover with excellent communication skills to add to our team. The successful applicants for our part and full time Associate Veterinarian positions will practice in scenic, historic Helena, MT.
Applicant must be proficient in or willing to learn both small and large animal general practice. Recent and new grads considered, but our generous compensation package will depend on experience. New Grads will be mentored. Hospital is well equipped with in-house blood machines, portable and in-house CR radiography, ultrasound, cold laser, Dentalaire dental equipment, tonometry, endoscopy, and fully computerized record keeping. Acupuncture and chiropractic are part of our robust practice. We service all domestic species including small animals, exotics, horses, and other farm animal species including beef cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and camelids. Daily workload is varied as far as species focus.
Valid MT veterinary license, national accreditation, and current driver’s license is required. Salary is based on experience and will be discussed during working interview, benefits based on working hours per week. Doctors are guaranteed a minimum of one 3-day weekend a month and will share emergency on-call with the other doctors in the clinic. The opening will provide for experience and growth in both small and large animal. Our management system involves all staff members in decision-making and allows them to influence and improve the quality of the workplace and the practice with a Central Management Team to effect the desired changes.
