Our practice is growing and we have an opening for a certified veterinary technician. We are an AAHA accredited hospital in beautiful Northwest Arvada, CO. Our hospital is dedicated to enriching the lives of pets and people through the delivery of full service integrated veterinary medicine, which includes using the best therapies from all areas of medicine to treat the individual patient’s needs.
Our veterinary nurses are given the opportunity to utilize their skills to the fullest extent. The Ideal Candidate is:
A Certified Veterinary Technician – New Graduates are welcome to apply.
Dedicated to the human-animal bond and creating a fear free experience for pets and people.
Highly organized, mature, and calm in a fast-paced team environment.
A high performing veterinary nurse with exemplary client/staff communication skills.
Efficient in managerial skills, phone communication and computer notes.
Able to complete the orders of the DVM and keep the appointments efficient.
An advocate for the patient and follows the details of a case to completion.
Capable of managing a high case load in partnership with multiple DVMs.
Capable of treating patients like their own pets and goes the extra mile to reduce a pet’s pain, fear and anxiety.
Passionate about personal and professional growth and development.
Experienced in exam rooms, treatment area and surgical/dental procedures.
Knowledgeable of Cornerstone, or quick to learn a new medical software system.
What Will You Be Doing Here?
Working closely with your team to provide exemplary veterinary care and customer service.
Communicating with clients and advocating for patients.
Cross training and assisting in other departments, such as reception, treatment or surgery/dentistry.
Learning and implementing integrative therapies.
Learning the business of veterinary medicine and your impact on marketing, customer service and patient service.
Developing yourself personally and professionally every day.
Fully utilizing your skills and learning something new every day.
