Progressive gem of a rural hospital with 6 veterinarians 10 miles from Columbia, with amazing culture and team
Our highly regarded progressive 6-DVM small animal hospital, Well Pets Veterinary Clinic, is seeking an experienced DVM with interest in soft tissue surgery and dentals. Our culture is second to none. We pride ourselves on mentoring new graduates. We create a positive culture by instilling a sense of responsibility and accountability. We do this by focusing on what’s going well and/or improving; then we reward it. This philosophy has helped create a very welcome, progressive, positive culture where staff love coming to work. Our highly trained staff provide great teamwork, comradery, and respect for themselves, their team and the clients and pets. Education and collaboration are key practice values. We practice very progressive medicine. We are located in Irmo, S.C., ten miles from the capital of S.C., Columbia. We are located off the shore of Lake Murray, a 50,000-acre reservoir and recreational center with amazing boating and fishing. We are a very affordable place to live, very safe with great educational facilities. Today with more than 12,000 residents Irmo is one of the country's most sought after places to live.

For the past 17 years, I’ve placed veterinarians and hospital managers with the top 20% of veterinary practices. As both an independent veterinarian recruiter and career/life coach, I bring additional expertise to you to support your job search. Recently, one of my veterinarian candidates said, "as an independent recruiter, you are like an impartial third party. I feel I can get the real story about the practices from you!"For you the practice owner, I am able to increase employee retention due to a unique program based on both my expertise in coaching and recruiting. It's called the Veterinary Retention Program. It helps you, the owner, maintain your high level of clinical excellence and customer service, gives you that competitive advantage in the market place and most importantly, keep staff. I find exceptional veterinarian candidates who are self-motivated, flexible, competent and passionate about veterinary medicine.
