Why should you choose to work at Belvedere Veterinary Center?
Well, to start, remember the expression, "the grass is greener on the other side"? Well at Belvedere Veterinary Center, it actually is. Here is a short story about Dr. Elianne Amstalden and Belvedere Veterinary Center.
Dr. Elianne graduated from Ross University in January 2001. She married her husband in 2005 and in 2010, together, they decided to build a veterinary hospital that was state of the art, technologically advanced and a place where Dr. Elianne and all her employees can call "home away from home". Of course there is a huge focus on the the clients and patients, but along this 7 year journey of being a veterinarian and business owner, Dr. Elianne has come to realize that who makes the practices internal family is what counts the most. If this is not something you can relate to, then Belvedere Veterinary Center is not the place for you. In order to achieve happiness in the work place, our management team works very hard to focus on the team, the patients and the clients. Does this make us different than everyone else? Maybe not everyone, but I think most. How does this work? Since I am not much of a writer, I am going to outline how we achieve this.
1. CORE VALUES!! We have 4 core values: -Communicate effectively so that everyone knows exactly what you need. -Love what you do, do what you love. -Evolution: The act of letting go of the old way and accepting the new way, Creating new habits, Learning new things. -We got your back: Everyone is here to help each other.
2. MEETINGS!!! We have weekly meetings with every division of the team; Doctors, Patient Representative / Nurses and Client Representative. We then have monthly team building staff meetings.
3. We perform 360 reviews with every staff member.
4. Each employee has a Fear Free Certificate.
5. We are AAHA accredited.
6. Dr. Elianne is a member of VMG (Veterinary Management Group) to help guid her in making Belvedere Veterinary Center a better place. VMG 17 uses the EOS business model to help run the company.
7. We are a growing living organism, but in order to maintain that work life balance, Dr. Elianne has decided to hire only one more veterinary to make us whole. Is that person you?
I hope this helps you understand who we are and what our goals are.
