Primary responsibility is to support the City's spay and neuter program. Must be skilled in high volume sterilization to include pediatric sterilization. Other duties include ensuring the timely preventative care, diagnostic procedure, triage services and general medical treatment of the Center's animals. Assist the Center's manage in development of the annual budget for the veterinarian services program. Work with Center staff to develop programs to decrease the overpopulation of domestic animals in the City.
Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate valid Texas driver's license. Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Texas. Must have or be able to obtain a DEA license for controlled substance.
