Clinical Assistant Professor Washington State University The Department of Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience (IPN) in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University in Pullman, WA is seeking an outstanding academic instructor to fill a full-time, permanent 12-month career track faculty position with an emphasis in comparative and clinical domestic animal anatomy instruction at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. Required: Applicants must have one of the following earned degrees: DVM, PhD, or equivalent degree in relevant scientific area by the time of hire. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years (four semesters) of experience teaching gross anatomy in a professional DVM program as well as candidates holding a DVM degree. Duties: Instructional duties will include participation in team-taught small and large animal anatomy courses for professional DVM students as well as development and delivery of a domestic animal anatomy course for undergraduate students. Additional duties will depend on the interests and experience of the successful candidate and could include (but are not limited to) participation in other professional program coursework, participation in active College programs focused on excellence in teaching and the scholarship of teaching and learning, or a collaborative role in departmental research programs. The successful applicant must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated ability to work collegially and collaboratively with a diverse population of colleagues and students.
