Granville Veterinary Service, located in Upstate NY on the VT boarder is a four doctor practice servicing the equine and livestock population in the surrounding community. Although we do provide primarily ambulatory service, we also have an in house treatment area for specific cases.
Our goal is to provide exceptional and up to date care for our patients and clients. As such we have state of the art equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, upper airway endoscopy, power dentistry, in house lab/diagnostics, digital record keeping and much more. Opportunities to specialize and utilize both traditional and alternative medicine available.
Our support staff, include three office staff and one full time licensed veterinary technician, are available to help keep things running efficiently and smoothly while improving our doctors ability to practice high quality medicine.
Providing both routine and emergency care, our doctors rotate through the equally shared schedule allowing for better work life balance and creating the opportunities to enjoy the community we live and work in.
Each doctor is provided a fully stocked vehicle with all necessary equipment and supplies.
Our goal is to create an environment such that our doctors want to join us for the long term. Buy in option available for the right candidate.
Strong interest in equine medicine with willingness to work on other large animal species as needed is preferred.
Full or part time position with shared on call duties. Candidate must have a DVM or equivalent and be eligible for licensing in both NY and VT. Class II accreditation also required along with valid drivers license.
Additional Salary Information: Pay dependent on experience and workload. Benefits include but not limited to CE/Personal days off, CE stipend, Liability and Health insurance, AVMA dues, Retirement plan.

Granville Veterinary Service Large Animal is a large animal ambulatory practice serving clients in both upstate New York and Western Vermont. Our practice offers routine care, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in house hospitalization. Our clients run the gamut of disciplines including but not limited to pleasure, hunter/jumper, dressage, endurance, and reproduction. In addition to our extensive equine clientele we also provide care for cattle, small ruminants and camelids in our area.
