Mixed Animal Position (Predmoninantly Small Animal)
About Our Practice:
- Dedicated Dental Suite with digital radiology equipment
- Dedicated Surgery Suite with active scavenger system and anesthetic machine
- 4 Exam Rooms
- Paperless Medical Records (Impromed) -including on-farm calls
- Seasoned and Dedicated Support Staff of 30+
- DR Digital radiology (in-clinic) and two portable ultrasound machines
- Telemedicine Consultations
- Full In-House Idexx Lab
- Ultrasounds (Mobile and in-clinic units)
- Fully stocked mobile veterinary trucks (Stonewell Body Units)
- After Hour's Answering Service
- Four Full Time Veterinarians
We see about 70% small animal and 30% large animal (predominantly equine but comfort with camelids, small ruminants, and cattle is strongly encouraged). Each of our veterinarians is accompanied on house calls/farm calls with a veterinary assistant. You never have to worry about being under-supported. We have everything you need to practice the best quality veterinary medicine and being able to focus on being a doctor.

We strongly believe in collaboration and communication between all team members. We strongly support a team-based approach when it comes to patient care and we accomplish this with twice-weekly doctor rounds, monthly team meetings, and round table dinner meetings. We have a strong mentorship program and therefore new graduates are encouraged to apply. Given the nature of mixed animal practice, we do rotate on-call - Our doctors are on call for large animal emergencies five periods per month or less. You will NEVER be on call when you are not scheduled to work so you are able to enjoy time away from the practice to be well-rested and recharge. Additional compensation for emergency calls available. |
