We are currently seeking a PART TIME OR FULL TIME veterinarian to join our talented, compassionate and growing team. We are looking for a caring, team-oriented individual who possesses great communication skills with both clients and staff as well as excellent medicine and surgery for our patients. Our hospital is a full-service companion and exotic animal practice that has been serving the Mid-Hudson Valley community for 8 years. We are AAHA accredited and have a great group of staff members that take pride in providing excellent service at our busy hospital. Our team works hard to support and educate our clients, as their experience at our hospital is one of our top priorities. At Creature Comforts Animal Hospital, we have a culture of caring, compassionate and family-oriented staff that really enjoy working together. We are fully equipped with all state-of-the-art in-house lab equipment, ultrasound, digital radiography, dental equipment, digital dental radiography, tonopen, cautery, Cardell monitoring system, Sevoflourane and Isoflourane anesthesia and more. We will nurture any particular interest you have in the field. We also have an internet-based electronic veterinary software that allows you to review records remotely. Candidates for this position must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree (or equivalent) from an accredited university, a license to practice in the state of New York in good standing, good computer skills, excellent bedside manner with clients and staff, and proficiency with basic surgery. Superior candidates for this position will have an interest in exotic animal medicine and surgery, which will be encouraged. Ideal candidates for this position will already have experience with exotic animal medicine and surgery. 1 or more years of experience are preferred but not required as we will train or mentor the right individual.
