The Practice Manager performs a wide range of administrative activities related to the practice. This includes supporting Anicira’s mission of delivering high quality, affordable patient care and exceptional client service. The Practice Manager is critical to the success of the practice, ensuring a positive and productive culture built on shared values and direct communication; creating operational efficiencies and problem-solving to improve client service and team engagement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Uphold Anicra's standards and values.
Exercise sound judgment and the capability to make decisions in keeping with Anicira’s mission and vision.
Provide guidance to the team to ensure consistent, high quality care and service is provided to patients and clients.
Guide the financial and strategic business development activities.
Promote a cooperative working environment among team members; understand the value of teamwork.
Full cycle human resource management, including hiring, on-boarding, training, counseling, evaluating, terminating, and management of personnel records.
Mentor, develop and lead team members.
Maximize efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
Spearhead communications to keep team engaged and updated on all Anicira polices, programs and initiatives.
Manage medical, surgical, dentistry and staff schedules.
Record management including audits.
Cultivate and promote the spirit of trust and professionalism.
Create action plans, set and manages goals, delegates tasks, and track performance.
Ensure practice compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Oversee the building and equipment maintenance and housekeeping standards.
Ensure an outstanding client experience from end-to-end.
Other related duties as assigned.

Four day work week with three day weekend
Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
Three years experience with proven success in managing a veterinary practice.
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) designation preferred.
