Cocheco Veterinary Hospital a family owned and oriented practice located in Farmington, New Hampshire. Our location has nearby lakes, hiking, snow skiing, kayaking, horse sports events and access to the ocean.
We have a full-time (Four day work week), and Part-time openings for an associate veterinarian to help with our daily cases and surgeries. One week a month emergency or on-call scheduled at Myhre Equine. This is a great entry level position with amazing mentorship, support staff and room for growth.
Starting salary is competitive and based on experience The contract for full-time includes 50% paid health insurance, paid liability insurance, $500.00 continuing education, up to 15 days paid vacation, two paid personal Days and licensing fees.
Our Hospital is equipped with three exam rooms, Digital records, digital radiology, double surgical suite, dental machine, new dental X-Ray machine, in-house lab, grooming room. full kitchen and 1.5 bath.
We will be adding a neurologist to our team August 2020 with shared access to the Myhre Equine Clinic referral hospital to an Esaote MRI.
Wellness appointments are scheduled in 20 minute increments. Sick appointments are scheduled in 40 minute increments. Each veterinarian has a technician to assist them. An additional technician is scheduled to float where needed.
Our large animal cases and farm visit services are provided by our sister hospital, Myhre Equine Clinic located just ten minutes away. Cocheco Veterinary Hospital associates are welcome to spend their off time at MEC to further their Equine experience orenjoy the equestrian complex benifits.
