The Houston Humane Society is looking for an experienced DVM to join our team. Work in a well-equipped spay/neuter clinic with highly skilled staff. Must be available for high-volume spay/neuter work and capable of performing surgeries daily. Assisting with exams, diagnostics, lab work, administering vaccines, and medical treatments for the general public and sheltered animals will be included. Exotic and large animal experience preferred but not required. Duties include but not limited to: All duties of a DVM as sanctioned by Texas state law. Promotes health of animals by advising animal owners about sanitation measures, feeding and general care. Determines nature of disease or injury by examining pets; examining small, large animals.
