Buffalo Veterinary Group is happy to host externs.  We are a group of five privately-owned AAHA-certified hospitals located in suburban Buffalo, NY.  Two of our hospitals are open 24-hours for urgent and emergent care.  This allows for comprehensive patient care, diversity in caseload, and an overall fun experience. 

The ideal candidate is interested in practicing high quality medicine, is patient and personable, and communicates well. It is also important to be self-motivated and eager to increase your knowledge. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills are invaluable. Excellent opportunity to spend time in multi-doctor, multi-practice, small animal group that prides itself on bringing quality and innovative care to our patients.

Our facilities are equipped with full in-house Idexx laboratory equipment, digital x-ray and digital dental, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic laser, ocular tonometry, sevoflurane anesthesia, blood products, acupuncture, a complete pharmacy and Impromed Infinity computer software.
