Southern Regional Veterinary Emergency Services is currently looking for a full-time veterinarian to work in our growing emergency practice. SRVES serves Southeast Alabama, Southwest Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle in conjunction with a specialty surgery center located in the same building. We provide emergency support to referring DVMs on nights, weekends, and holidays. Compassion, Skill, and Service are the key pillars of our philosophy of care and we are looking for a veterinarian who shares this vision. SRVES has access to in house surgical consults and surgical support after-hours. Advanced diagnostic tools are also available such as digital radiology, ultrasound, CT imaging, endoscopy, and laparoscopy.

We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for emergency medicine. Applicant must be a veterinarian eligible for a license in the state of Alabama. Scheduled shifts will an average of 35 hours per week. SRVES is not a 24 hour emergency facility. Current hours of operation are Monday through Friday 5 pm to 11 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 8pm. The schedule is negotiable with current associate emergency veterinarians.

NOTES:
2 openings.

Additional Salary Information: With a signed contract, the following is available for associate veterinarians, Production bonuses, paid vacation, Continuing Educaiton, 401k with profit sharing (when eligible), licensing and professional membership fees. More specific information is available upon request. A signing bonus of $10,000 is available with a 12 month commitment.

Both hospitals support local DVMs to provide surgical support and emergency care. Our primary function is to provide these services to surrounding veterinarians and model Compassion, Skill, and Service.
