Button Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned veterinary hospital looking for a part-time/full-time associate. We are a well-established (founded in 1920), full-service small animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. Located in the Nalley Valley neighborhood in Tacoma, we have treated pets for 4 and 5 generations of families in the South Puget Sound. We consider our patients part of our family and approach veterinary care as such. Our goal is to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and full service veterinary health care. We provide care for dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets.

We are seeking a motivated candidate for a long term association with potential for ownership to join our team of 3 DVMs. We have an excellent staff, modern equipment (digital radiography, in house lab, laser therapy, etc.) and a collegial environment. We also have access to specialists at two local referral centers.

Our full time veterinarians work 4 days per week, 32-38 hours. We are open Monday-Friday, 9-6 and Saturday, 9-1 and schedule 1 ½ hour lunches. We value everyone’s need for a work/life balance. Additionally, our 30 minute appointment length offers you adequate time for each client and patient.

We pay based on production with a guaranteed base salary. Benefits include subsidized medical, dental and vision coverage, paid-time off, state and DEA licenses, WSVMA membership, as well as a CE allowance with paid time off to attend.
