Springville Veterinary Services is currently accepting applications for Equine Veterinarians to join our team. There are 2 positions open. We are an all ambulatory, all large animal practice with 5 veterinarians. Our workload is 70% equine, 25% bovine, and 5% other livestock species. The practice is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscope, power dental equipment, and an in-house laboratory. Services provided include performance horse medicine, pre-purchase examinations, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, stallion collection, and dentistry, as well as routine and general care. Our equine patients range from backyard pets to international competitors. We support an attitude of compassion and respect for our patients, our clients, and our colleagues.
The position may be either full or part time. Benefits include three weeks paid time off, health, disability, and liability insurance, and a retirement plan, as well as continuing education. Additionally, our vets are provided with a practice vehicle that is suited for all weather conditions and stays with the veterinarian each night.
Springville is a small town located in western New York, approximately 30 miles from Buffalo, a culturally rich city with sports and entertainment. We have a strong sense of community, an excellent public school system and a strong local arts and music scene. Hunting, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, and skiing are also popular in the area.

We are a five veterinarian ambulatory large animal practice in western NY. Our case load is 60% equine, 40%dairy, with small amounts of swine and small ruminant. Our equine clientele varies widely from backyard pet owners to international competitors. The practice in its current form was started in 1994 and has grown greatly since then mostly based on equine work.
