Per Diem Veterinarian, Community Medicine Los Angeles
The Community Medicine Veterinarian is responsible for providing preventive and basic medical care including spay/neuter surgery to pet dogs and cats living with their families in the LA area and in the care of the Los Angeles rescue community. Services are provided by mobile units parked at designated locations or at our stationary clinic and include examinations, non-invasive diagnostics and treatments concentrating on conditions which can be addressed with reasonable resources and have a high likelihood of a positive outcome. The Community Medicine Veterinarian will also provide preventive and basic veterinary care, including issuing health certificates, in support of other ASPCA Departments including Community Engagement, Relocation and the Foster Care Program.
