Desert Pines Equine Medical and Surgical Center, a progressive, established, six-veterinarian practice that includes a board-certified surgeon and internist and excellent support staff located in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a veterinary associate to help us continue our tradition of excellence.

The Clinic has a surgical suite, two large exam/treatment rooms, ICU stalls and barn for hospitalization, three digital x-ray units, 1 and 3-meter endoscopy, digital ultrasound, arthroscopy/laparoscopy equipment, power-float dental equipment, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, a class iV laser, IRAP processing, PRP and an in-house lab.

We offer extensive services and treatments in sports medicine to keep equine athletes at peak performance. We offer ambulatory services as well as serve as the go-to referral hospital for the region.

Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing cities in the US. The clinic sits just 20 minutes from Red Rock National Conservation Area. You may think you know Las Vegas, but beyond the strip, the city has a small town feel and a robust horse community. Plus, it's home to professional sports teams including The Raiders( NFL)  and The Las Vegas Golden Knights ( NHL) as well as a large number of national equestrian events from show jumpers to professional rodeo. 

Applicants must be in completion in good standing of a DVM or VMD degree at an accredited university and have a veterinary license and accreditation to practice in the state of Nevada. Completion of an internship or a few years in practice is required.
