Sutton Road Animal Hospital is a well established (over 50 years), three doctor small animal practice located in Streamwood Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago. Our location has all the advantages of access to the Big City with the hometown community spirit of the suburbs.

We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time associate veterinarian with a can-do attitude, who is dedicated to the call of being a veterinarian. Our ideal candidate will have a positive outlook and recognize the honor and dignity of the profession, helping those who cannot help themselves, taking care of both pets and their people. While wellness and preventative medicine are the backbone of any general practice, we wish to continue to provide our clients with much more. We're seeking someone who enjoys educating clients, is motivated by the challenge of working up medical cases, and is proficient (or willing to learn) general dentistry and surgery, someone who is willing to expand their skills, who is confident doing that which they have been trained and prepared for. In a nutshell, we are looking for a candidate who relishes the work of a good old-fashioned practitioner, utilizing modern technologies. This would be a great position for an experienced DVM, who can add value to an established practice, where potential exists for growth into a leadership role or new grads to learn everyday veterinary practice vs. a university setting.

We have a dedicated and ambitious technical and support staff to help you with your workflow. Client Care Coordinators work diligently to schedule appointments with our Doctors' time and smooth clinic operation in mind.

Full-Time associate veterinarians at Sutton Road Animal Hospital average 34.5 hours/week with generous time off. When you leave work we want you to live well, rest well, and enjoy the many opportunities this area offers: theater, golf, world class equestrian sport, shopping and dining, as well as biking, hiking, boating, and fishing. We are only 30 minutes from O'Hare International Airport which offers a quick escape when you need to get out of town.

Our hospital facility has recently been renovated both inside and out. It is clean, well appointed and well maintained. We are equipped with digital x-ray and dental radiography, ultrasound,  therapeutic laser, high speed dental unit, heated surgical table, LED surgical lights, complete IDEXX in house lab with SediVue urinalysis analyzer, and Cornerstone Practice Management System.

We provide a competitive salary, with opportunity to earn production bonuses if desired, signing bonus or relocation assistance up tp $30,000, AVMA dues, Chicago VMA dues, annual Illinois state license renewal, DEA license fee, AVMA PLIT liability coverage,$1500 CE allowance per year, 401K, Health/Dental/Vision insurance with shared premiums, practice sponsored short term disability and life insurance, professional attire (lab coats/scrubs), and discounted veterinary care.
