Veterinary Career Center

We offer an exciting and rewarding externship for veterinary students who want to gain experience in a private practice setting where standards of the AAHA, AAFP, Fear Free, and VECCS are practiced and exposure to a 24 hour general and emergency/critical care practice would be of interest to the student.  All expenses (travel, lodging, meals, associated travel expenses) are covered so there is not out of pocket expense.  The student will be mentored by our medical directors and interact with all associates and referral specialists, and have the opportunity to assist in surgery, emergency, and other challenging cases.  For more information visit our website www.apah24.com or contact Dr. Pat Choyce, hospital owner and medical director, at 281-392-7387, drpat@apah24.com, or cell 713-299-45
