Stanley Veterinary Clinic, located in Overland Park, Kansas, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our 6-doctor team! We are proud to be AAHA accredited!

About our clinic: Stanley Veterinary Clinic is a full-service small animal hospital offering the best in medical and surgical care. Our diagnostic equipment includes a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, and Vimago high-definition CT scanner, which is used frequently for our dentistry and orthopedic patients, as well as for fluoroscopy. Several of our doctors have advanced ultrasound training and perform diagnostic ultrasounds and one performs echocardiograms. The images are reviewed by a radiologist or internist usually within an hour. Our associate Dr. Matthew Powers is certified in PennHIP. We also have therapeutic laser, PRP, and stem cell therapy. Furthermore, all our exam rooms contain computers, making it easy to review radiographs with clients. We are paperless and use Cornerstone for our electronic medical records. Most importantly, we have an amazing support staff and a 2:1 technician to doctor ratio, with designated technicians for treatment, surgery, and to assist in rooms.

At Stanley, we perform a large variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and dentistry. Our surgery suite contains CO2 cutting laser, cold laser, and monitoring equipment. We also utilize the services of a traveling board-certified surgeon for TPLOs and arthroscopic procedures. Our dental equipment includes two wet tables, drill and scaler handpiece, and dental radiography. Radiographs or CT and cold laser are performed on all dentistry patients. Pre-op lab work, IV catheter, and IV fluids are required for every patient undergoing anesthesia.

We have worked hard to build and maintain a positive work environment and pride ourselves on having an upbeat and helpful team! Our medical director Dr. Pearson is a great mentor and has experience teaching and all our doctors collaborate daily. We also try to do activities outside of work and have most recently gone to an escape room and had fun ax throwing.

Our doctors work a 4-day work week and rotate Saturdays, but we can be flexible with scheduling. There are no on-call responsibilities since we have an emergency hospital just a few blocks away. You can learn more about our incredible practice at stanleyvet.com.
