New Graduate or Experienced Veterinarian for extraordinary AAHA rural hospital with the amenities of a big city without the crowds, crime, and traffic $100K-$140K

How would it feel to wake up and be genuinely excited about going to work every morning knowing your family is in a congenial, family-oriented, and safe community?  We’re located in Columbus, IN (population 45,000) in the “Indianapolis (45 miles), Louisville (72 miles) and Cincinnati (90 miles) triangle” just down the road from Bloomington and Indiana University.

- Cummins Inc., a global power leader, that designs, manufactures, distributes and services diesel and natural gas engines and related technologies and employs 55,000 people worldwide with revenues of $1.4 billion in 2015,

-Columbus Regional Hospital is a general medical and surgical hospital in Columbus, IN, with 198 beds. It is also accredited by the American Osteopathic Association with 9,359 admissions in 2015,

- Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation with 11,541 students attending 17 schools in grades PK and K-12. The district has an annual budget of $162,381,000, spending an average of $14,251 per child.

In addition, Columbus has hundreds of acres in a city park system ranked number one in the country by the National Recreation and Park Association for cities the size of Columbus. Parks feature such unusual facilities as an ice skating rink, a skateboard park, an observation tower, and an ivy-covered tunnel, as well as the more typical, yet fun, activities such as fishing, walking, hiking, and biking.  Columbus is ranked sixth in the nation for architectural innovation and design by the American Institute of Architects, right behind Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Washington, D.C.

-ultrasound including abdominal and cardiac,

-soft tissue surgery,

-oncology,

-internal medicine,

-exotics

-ultrasound,

-therapeutic laser,

-digital whole body and dental x-ray,

-an in-house lab.

Compensation and Benefits:

Generous compensation $100-$140K depending on experience, profit sharing, medical insurance (United Health), plenty of vacation time, and relocation allowance.  Our shift is 36 hrs./week.
