Associate Veterinarian at Braintree Veterinary Care
At Braintree Veterinary Care, we believe the best veterinary care comes from a blend of science and art. We use the latest protocols and technology to help us deliver effective, fast, and convenient care. We are equipped with a full suite of in-house diagnostic and laboratory tools, allowing us to deliver results quickly and effectively. Compassionate care is important to our team which is why we are proudly Fear Free® Certified.
Our new hospital was built from the ground up with the vision of veterinary professionals in mind! We have a very close-knit team complete with an extremely warm and friendly staff. We pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy team culture with work-life balance at the top of our priorities. We have a mandatory lunch break daily and foster a very hands-on learning environment. Our hours are Monday through Friday, closed early at 2pm every Saturday, and closed completely every Sunday! In addition, we also work closely with many philanthropic organizations, including Paws4Survival Rescue, Inc.
Working as a Veterinarian for us means complete autonomy in your medicine, a true rarity in the veterinary industry. We believe in your education and feel passionate about supporting you in utilizing the skills acquired in your rigorous training. Use your skills to meet medical standards, not dictated by anyone else. There are new advancements in medicine and treatment every day, and we highly encourage our doctors to stay up-to-date on progressions in medicine so that they are continually growing and learning with us. You will be provided a generous Continuing Education allowance to explore emerging programs you are interested in, such as laser therapy, acupuncture, and programs for advancing dental and surgical skills. In addition, we offer three additional medical days per year to use for Continuing Education programs.
Teamwork is everything to us, which is why you will have complete access to our growing network of licensed professionals at our practices throughout the Northeast. Our goal is for the Licensed Veterinarian to cultivate a professional, positive working environment with ample mentorship opportunities for staff, in addition to a warm, welcoming environment for pets and their owners.
Above everything else, the best person for this job is a team player with a willingness to learn and adapt. In our industry, no day is the same and being ready to jump in to assist other team members in the veterinary setting is crucial.
