Advance Vet Care is hiring a full time or part time veterinarian! We are:

• A small town canine and feline practice
• Family owned and run
• In close proximity to Myrtle Beach
• No nights
• No weekends
• No on-call shifts. (afterhours emergencies are referred to the emergency clinic in Myrtle)
• Experienced technician staff with a very low turnover rate
• Experienced veterinarian on staff able to teach and mentor
• Our vet will be able to practice the way that they see fit and will participate in protocol construction

• Requirements include a DVM or VMD, DEA, a SC veterinary license, or an application in process or willingness to initiate application for any of the above unobtained credentials
• Daily tasks include:
  • collecting patient history
  • recommending and administering vaccinations
  • performing annual physical examinations and sick visit examinations, charting the findings and discussing the treatment plans with clients
  • prescribing and charting medications
  • recommending and interpreting imaging and labwork
  • performing surgery including but not limited to: spays/neuters/dentals and tooth extractions/soft tissue surgery and growth removals/exploratory surgeries ( Dr Strickland can teach other surgeries as they arise including orthopedic surgeries, cherry eye marsupialization, gastropexy, etc)
