Crosslake Veterinary Hospital is a three-doctor companion animal practice, nestled in Crosslake, MN on the beautiful Whitefish Chain of Lakes.  This town boasts beautiful lakeshore properties, endless outdoor activities on and off the lakes, shops and eateries for locals and visitors alike, and a growing year-round population.

Crosslake Veterinary Hospital is a privately-owned practice focused on being a strength to the community.  A brand new expansive facility with advanced medical equipment allows us the tools to provide gold-standard care, but it is our patient care, thorough character, and attention to managing the whole picture that sets us apart.   Our ability to work as a cohesive team allows us to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions, and our clientele provide us with the opportunity to maximize the use of equipment and expertise.

• 30-40 minute appointment times to allow thorough care and communication, new graduates needing longer appointment times are easily accommodated
• Opportunity throughout each day to discuss cases with experienced doctors
• Weekly doctor meetings to strengthen protocols and confer on patient care
• Experienced technicians to complete treatment plans and communicate with clients
• Flexible schedule to provide varying opportunities between appointments, surgeries, dental procedures and urgent care
• Assistance with medical transcription throughout the working day and access to remote practice management software from home
• Focus on continuing education to ensure the time to develop your interests

To help you meet your best, Crosslake Veterinary Hospital has 5 exam rooms, separate feline and canine hospitalization wards, 3-table treatment space, double surgery suite, double dental suite and a dedicated isolation room.  Our equipment consists of in-house IDEXX lab equipment complete with urine sediment analysis and coagulation profiles, full body digital radiography, digital dental radiography, GE ultrasound with color flow, sevoflurane gas anesthesia, full anesthesia monitoring equipment, and multiple IV and syringe pumps for constant rate infusions.  We have a brand new spacious employee break room and our associates have a dedicated office space away from the main workflow.

Work schedule would be four days per week.  Benefits package includes group medical, dental, and vision insurance with company coverage of 75% of premiums, company-paid short term disability coverage, paid time off and holiday pay, generous continuing education pay and additional CE paid time off, paid VIN membership, paid state and DEA licensing, paid membership to AVMA and MVMA plus one other organization of your choice, matching IRA, employee discounts and access to supplemental insurance.  Compensation is primarily salary.  Emergency coverage during evening and weekend, but not overnight, hours are shared amongst four local veterinary hospitals for a 1 out of every 11 rotation.  Bonus and production compensation is paid for any emergency hours worked.

DVM or equivalent along with licensing in the state of Minnesota is required.
