Natural Resource Specialist 3, Fish Health Specialist at Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife What you will do: Promote health, employ preventative measures, and determine cause of mortality and recommend treatment to fish populations being managed by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW). Investigate fish disease and determine causes of mortality of fish in hatcheries. Perform diagnostic necropsies and medical exams on fish to determine health status. Identify anatomical abnormalities and clinical signs of disease. Collect samples for diagnostic purposes. Interpret laboratory analysis to infer disease/pathogen presence. Communicate recommendations to hatchery staf
