Lake Hickory Veterinary Hospital has served Caldwell, Catawba, Alexander and Burke counties since 1997. We are a multi-doctor practice with a well staffed support team. We have access to digital radiographs for full body and dental, therapeutic laser, Cornerstone software, and a dedicated surgery suite!

We are excited to add an Associate Veterinarian to our team! There is an opportunity to see a wide variety of medical and surgical cases, build your own clientele, and become a part of our local community. This position would be a great opportunity for a new graduate looking for mentorship, as well as an experienced veterinarian looking to grow their clientele within our practice.

Granite Falls was established in 1899, and is situated in southern Caldwell County located partly on Lake Hickory and less than five miles from US 40 and Hickory. Named for the falls and giant granite boulders on Gunpowder Creek, the town began as an industrial town and is headquarters today to one of the nations most heralded small banks, The Bank of Granite. Granite Falls is located just outside of the bustling Southern metropolis of Charlotte, North Carolina and just two hours from the mountains and three hours from the beach, making us a central location for all things outdoors!
