SENIOR & JUNIOR ROTATING Day / Night Shift Veterinarian

WHO ARE WE?

Wellness Veterinary Hospital was established in 2016 and has been rapidly growing since. From a small-scale one vet clinic, we are now a multi-vet, busy hospital with an abundant caseload out in the beautiful New Territories.

Our consultation hours are currently 8am-12am, but we are aiming to expand to 24/7 full-service care as we have moved into a new purpose-built facility, stacked with all the diagnostic tools and equipment a budding veterinarian can only dream of. This means HDVI CT scanner (high definition volumetric imaging with fluoroscopy), DR X-ray, orthopedic equipment, rigid and flexible endoscopy, dental radiology, two surgical theatres, five consultation rooms, a staff room, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy room, and isolation wards.

We have a large and varied caseload, from intriguing second opinion cases to emergency surgical cases. Other than conventional medicine, we also offer exotics, TCM, rehabilitation, and palliative care.

We prioritize the emotional well-being of our colleagues and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional and compassionate patient care.  We understand that the quality of patient care is a reflection of your level of support and resources so we:

-           Have veterinary assistants that either hold diplomas in vet nursing or are studying to complete AIRC Cert II/IV dipoma. All our veterinary technicians have veterinary degrees from overseas

-           Proactively engage in case discussions and emphasize the importance of continuing education

-           Have not held back on expenses in the new expansion. All the diagnostic tools to pinpoint that definitive diagnosis in a challenging case is under one roof.

-           Have become one of few blood banks on HK with canine and feline pRBC.

-           Can offer a mentorship program with one of the senior veterinarians who have over 15 years experience as clinicians.

-           Have a solid back-end support staff for procurement, marketing, accounting etc.

MR / MS RIGHT:

The right candidate must be confident, able to manage his/her own time, is flexible, able to work independently, is self-driven, as well as a good communicator and team player. We pay a generous basic salary, plus a bonus scheme for clinical staff and 13th-month pay for backend staff. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

For senior vets (5 Years Plus Experience)

Day Shift:

Independent, solo charge vet with special interest in certain fields are desirable (IM, critical care, surgery, exotics, TCVM etc). Candidate must have good communication skills and respect teamwork. Generous salary plus personal turnover bonus, CPD allowance, relocation allowance for overseas candidates and visa sponsorship.

Night Shift:

Calm, efficient with excellent time management, and passionate about emergency & critical care. Relevant qualifications are a great plus. You will be working with a team of vet techs and vet nurses. Generous base salary of minimum $100k/month plus personal turnover bonus, CPD allowance, relocation allowance for overseas candidates and visa sponsorship.

For junior vets / fresh grads:

Willingness to learn and grow, adaptable and works well as a team. Fresh grads will start at ward duties and basic consults & surgeries and progress from this point. Generous salary plus personal turnover bonus, CPD allowance, relocation allowance for overseas candidates and visa sponsorship.
