Our hospitals have busy caseloads and highly trained clinical staff who have access to plentiful CE and growth opportunities provided by our Learning and Development department. Emergency doctors collaborate with other doctors in the following specialties across the network:

General Job Description:
Our Emergency doctors work within the Emergency/Critical Care department and have primary case responsibility receiving patients and caring for their inpatients. In addition, the overnight and weekend ER doctors care for all the hospitalized patients within the hospital. Emergency doctors have the opportunity to learn and utilize their skills in ultrasound, triage, CPR and get to work with technical staff of high caliber to treat challenging cases. In addition, we have surgeons on call for emergency surgeries, specialists who are trained in ultrasound to help with your patients, and the opportunity to work alongside various specialists to exchange advice on patients.
Schedule:
A full time schedule is 3/12 or 4/10s per week. Both of these schedules leave you time to enjoy all that California has to offer. Shifts are a mix of days, swings, and some overnights, with holiday coverage shared by the emergency doctors within the hospital. The emergency doctors collaborate to create a fair schedule and take into account everyone’s needs.

Compensation/benefits: The best deserve to be compensated as such. We offer base shift pay based on day of the week/time of the day worked. On top of the shift pay, our emergency/critical care doctors receive a monthly bonus based on individual production. We strive to provide flexibility based on your life and your needs.
