Job Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while delivering high-quality veterinary care.
Manage and lead a team of dedicated veterinary technicians, customer service representatives and support staff.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and continuous learning among staff members.
Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance client satisfaction.
Collaborate with the veterinarians to implement and monitor protocols, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and industry trends.
Implement and maintain practice policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Oversee human resource functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Serve as a liaison between the practice and suppliers, vendors, and professional organizations.
Collaborate with the practice owner to establish and achieve business goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), or currently in the process of obtaining.
Candidates with previous experience in a veterinary practice leadership or management role will be given priority.
Strong leadership skills along with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding client service.
Knowledge of veterinary practice management systems.
Proficient in financial management, including budgeting and financial analysis.
Superb organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of current industry regulations and standards.
